2. The Problem

A well-established dental clinic in Bogotá, following a recent rebranding process, lacked a digital presence. Their main obstacle was information density: an extensive list of procedures and sub-procedures that was overwhelming for their primary audience (adults aged 25–50+). The challenge was to organize this complexity without losing the essence of their new visual identity.

1. THE CHALLENGE

Visage needed a digital presence that matched the high standards of their clinical services. The goal was to move away from a generic template and create a custom identity that builds trust, reduces patient anxiety, and streamlines the appointment booking process.

The Hypothesis

If we structure the information architecture by prioritizing visual hierarchy and reduce cognitive load through a consistent design system, a senior user will be able to book an appointment in less than 3 clicks, regardless of the treatment's complexity.

3. Execution

My role was end-to-end, acting as both UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer, ensuring the design vision wasn't lost during technical implementation.

Benchmarking & Architecture:

I analyzed industry leaders in Bogotá to identify success patterns and friction points. I used FigJam to create a Sitemap that simplified the navigation of multiple services.

Low-Fidelity Wireframing:

Using Balsamiq, I validated the logical structure before moving to visuals, ensuring the content hierarchy addressed patient questions right from the start.

Digital Design System:

Based on their physical brand manual, I built a component system in Figma. I used an "Intentional Redundancy" strategy: placing strategic buttons and Calls to Action (CTAs) so the user never had to "hunt" for the next step.

Custom Development:

I implemented the solution in WordPress, using custom code (CSS/PHP) to replicate the Figma prototype exactly, guaranteeing optimal load times to favor future SEO positioning.

4. the result

Zero-to-One Presence: Complete creation of the clinic's digital identity from scratch.

Growth-Ready Infrastructure: Structure optimized for Google Ads campaigns and Semantic SEO.

Active Conversion: The site now functions as the primary conversion engine for social media campaigns, centralizing lead capture that was previously scattered across informal channels.
